This scene is taken from a field high upon a hill up off West Shore Road near the entrance from Swanzey Lake Road. The colorized photo postcard is circa 1909-1911. Note: the buildings where Richardson Park is today, Talbot Hill in about the center of the photo, and Honey Hill, the mound in the distance slightly right of center.

Butch the building shown in this photo is the old boat house/bath house that used to be on the beach at Denman's summer home.
